Previous Item Next Item Chapter 3: Robot Programming

In This Chapter...
You’ll learn the basics of robot programming. You’ll learn how to design and code a simple robot program using the BeeSoft Scheduler, how to use the various types of callbacks and how to make BeeSoft debugging calls. You’ll learn about the powerful and flexible BeeSoft parameter files, beeSoft.ini and bUtils.h. You’ll wander through wander, a simple robotic motion demonstration program in which the robot wanders about its environment while using its sonar, tactile and infrared sensors to avoid obstacles ahead of it. When you finish this chapter, you’ll be ready to start writing your own robot control programs to put your robot to work on tasks of your own choosing.
